These terms govern your use of MyPlateCheck, including free vehicle information, paid reports, report credits, customer access and advertising services.

MyPlateCheck is owned and operated by Pixel Web Solutions Ltd, Regency Avenue, Middlesbrough, TS6 0QH. By using this website or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
You must use MyPlateCheck lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt, misuse, reverse engineer, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website, systems, accounts or data.
MyPlateCheck provides vehicle information and buyer-focused vehicle-history reports. Free checks may include public vehicle information. Buyer and Ultimate reports may include additional third-party history data. Coverage depends on the registration, vehicle age, provider availability and records held by source organisations.
Information may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or incorrect. A clear result does not guarantee that a vehicle has no undisclosed history or defects. MyPlateCheck is a research aid and does not replace inspecting the vehicle, checking the V5C and VIN/chassis details, verifying the seller, reviewing service records, carrying out finance checks where appropriate or obtaining a professional mechanical inspection.
You are responsible for entering the correct vehicle registration and reviewing the report before relying on it. You remain responsible for any decision to view, buy, sell, finance or otherwise transact in relation to a vehicle.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Payment for paid reports, bundles and advertising is processed securely through Stripe. MyPlateCheck does not store raw card details. We may change prices, offers or product structures at any time, but a completed purchase remains subject to the price shown when you paid.
A paid report credit is normally consumed when a report is successfully generated for a registration. Multi-check bundles may provide several credits for later use. Completed reports may be stored so they can be accessed again through My Reports & Credits. Access may require a completed checkout session or a time-limited secure access link.
If a temporary technical or data-provider issue prevents a paid report from completing, the system is designed not to leave the relevant credit permanently consumed by an unsuccessful generation attempt. Some individual data sections may still be unavailable where the underlying provider has no record or cannot return the information.
Digital vehicle reports are prepared using the registration you provide and may begin processing immediately after payment. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the circumstances, including whether a paid report or credit has already been generated, redeemed or supplied. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
You must keep secure links, report-access links and advertiser login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity carried out using access credentials that you knowingly share. We may suspend or revoke access where we reasonably believe there is misuse, fraud, abuse or a security risk.
Advertising bookings are subject to availability, payment and approval. Payment reserves the booked inventory but does not guarantee publication of artwork or destinations that fail our review. We may reject, pause or require changes to advertising that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, technically unsuitable or inconsistent with the service. Rotating inventory may be shared with other active advertisers, so impressions are not guaranteed to be evenly distributed or to reach a fixed volume unless separately agreed in writing.
The MyPlateCheck website, branding, layouts, software, original copy and other original materials are protected by intellectual-property rights. Vehicle and third-party data may be subject to separate rights belonging to the relevant source or provider. You may use a purchased report for your own legitimate vehicle-research purposes but may not systematically copy, scrape, republish, resell or commercially exploit the service or its data without permission.
MyPlateCheck may rely on or link to third-party providers, including payment processors, vehicle-data providers, advertisers and external websites. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
We aim to keep MyPlateCheck available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may maintain, update, suspend or change features where reasonably necessary for security, legal, operational or product reasons.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, MyPlateCheck is not responsible for losses caused by relying on incomplete or unavailable third-party vehicle data, decisions made about a vehicle, loss of profit or business opportunity, or events outside our reasonable control. Consumer rights that apply by law remain unaffected.

We may update these terms when the service, pricing, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page and will apply from the stated update date.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes arising from these terms.
